This is the best optical illusion I’ve ever seen–the image is actually stationary. It’s also a great analogy for gays and lesbians who live the closet. Isn’t that a great illusion, too? I had a discussion with my coach yesterday who has a long-time friend that just came out. She was shocked. I told her if everyone that was gay or lesbian stepped forward at the same hour on the same day, everyone would be shocked. Imagine if that happened. Wouldn’t it be great? People would have a hard time denying us then: sons, daughters, coworkers, moms, friends, brothers, and on and on. Yes, closeting is one illusion the world could do without.
